As an International Category Leader, you are responsible for the group-wide purchasing activities related to services in the field of open-air services.

You control and manage the purchasing activities for the ''Overheadline Services' product group (purchasing services for the planning, construction and maintenance of pipelines) for all relevant E.ON companies. You develop and implement the purchasing strategy for the product group in close coordination with the E.ON Supply Chain and cooperation with technical stakeholders. You collect the needs and requirements of the international E.ON companies and conduct market analyses. You define tender plans, negotiate with our key service providers and are responsible for supplier and contract management. As a professional leader, you coach and develop the employees in the E.ON companies and develop the knowledge of goods groups. You make your contribution to achieving the identified value creation and saving goals by implementing appropriate value levers and implementing developed measures and tools for cost and value optimization. You support cooperation across business areas and borders.

You have ideally functional leadership experience in cross-site and international product group teams. You have pronounced analytical and communicative skills in combination with a structured, independent way of working and a pragmatic, practical approach. You have experience in defining and implementing international product group strategies and change processes, in regional and internal supplier management and know common methods and tools for cost analysis and total cost ownership. You are used to work in matrix organizations and to place yourself strongly at all hierarchical levels within complex stakeholder structures. You can have many years of professional experience in strategic as well as operational purchasing, according to well-founded expertise and expertise in handling high volumes of purchases and ideally have knowledge (suppliers, markets, trends) in the relevant business environment or comparable technical product groups. You prove a safe handling of MS Office and ideally SAP as well as knowledge in handling other shopping tools. (Supplier Relationship Management, eSourcing, eAuction) You bring a successfully completed study in the field of economics or engineering, or a comparable training, are open to Germany-wide and international travel and have knowledge of German and English.
