Our Maintenance / Process Management (PLT) Services department in Cologne fully takes care of the maintenance, technical development work in the field of electrotechnical and measurement and control technology and ensures a high degree of operational safety and trouble-free operation. Before we go into detail: the basics. 37.5 week hours | Start of work between 06:00 and 09:00 | 1 day every 2 weeks mobile office possible | unlimited fixed order | Köln | 30 days holiday | salary band: 65,000 € - 85,000 € (grouping by chemical tariff)

The end-to-end response for the process control system (PLS), you administrate, update and secure the control system, control access rights in close exchange with operation and HR and carry the professional sovereignty over the system – including the professional processing of recurring enquiries and tasks.

You design and monitor the OT network structure according to cyber security requirements, analyze data traffic and drive the fundamental redesign of network architecture significantly within the next 3-5 years.

Other important points are operational safety, analysis & prioritization, you are responsible for alarm management, analyse protocols of the control system, detect irregularities early and, through a clear prioritization, ensure the stability and availability of the systems, even during operation.

Your incorporation, training & international cooperation will take place as follows: In the first 4–6 weeks you will get to know the work, plants and network infrastructure. In addition, you train the operating personnel in the safe handling of the control system and support our worldwide works in design phases for system administration and OT security.

You support specialist workshops in operational malfunctions and complex technical tasks, troubleshoot process control technology independently as part of the readiness to call and keep budgets as well as unique and ongoing costs in mind – with the clear commitment to finding a solution for every challenge.

You have a successfully completed engineering degree or a technical degree with relevant practical professional experience and thus provide a well-founded technical basis for entering the position.

You have deep knowledge of measurement and control technology, in IT installations within chemical plants, in handling programmable controllers (SPS) and in process control technology.

A regular call willingness for you (approximately 4–5 x a year for one week each) is of course a faulty operation of the upper class. You act independently, independently, structured and reliable at any time.
