We, the OTTO tax department, are a small team of experts and take care of the operating taxes of the entire Otto GmbH and Co. KGaA. Our focus is on sales tax issues. As part of our team, you are actively working on the success of our company. Compliance with tax requirements is a challenging and at the same time interesting activity. Be part of our team. You can support us in parttime (up to 18 h/week). The job is limited to 12 months.

You support the regular updating and further development of the Tax Compliance Management System. You participate in the design, improvement, documentation and monitoring of tax-relevant business processes. You carry out plausibility checks and check accounting processes in terms of turnover tax. You are working on the use of new technologies (AI, tax tools). You support the creation of tax reports. Must-have: Studies in Economics – BWL, VWL or the like (optimal with tax focus) Interest in team-oriented project work Above-average commitment, communication strength and readiness to work intensively in matters Good knowledge in Microsoft 365 environment, especially Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word and Excel Openness for AI tools Independent, structured and conscientious working Language level: German B2 (self-employed language use) and English B1 ( advanced language use) Nice-to-have: Commercial training First experience with SAP FI-CO
