Azure AI Engineer - Agentic Systems (m/f/d)

Azure AI Engineering: On the Microsoft Azure AI Stack, you develop agentic solutions – from knowledge assistants to autonomous multi-agent systems to responsible operation of productive AI applications – for our customers. You translate AI potentials into scalable, secure and effective solutions and actively participate in our reference architectures. Custom AI Solutions: You design and implement customized solutions on the Azure AI Stack - RAG systems, document intelligence and LLM-based process automation included. Agent systems: You develop multi-agency architectures with modern frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen or LangGraph and integrierst tools and data sources about open standards such as MCP and A2A. You work consistently agentically, with specialized agents along the AI engineering cycle, and establish Quality Gates for agent-based development and operating processes. LLMOps & Deployment: You are responsible for the productive operation of AI applications, from model selection, prompt management and versioning to observability, token cost control and scaling. Responsible AI & Governance: You anchor security, data protection and monitoring based on Microsoft Governance tools and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Customer advice & knowledge transfer: You accompany customers in envisioning workshops such as “Agent in a Day”, prioritize Use Cases and develop pragmatic implementation roadmaps. In the team, you will continue to build reference architectures and asset libraries and stand as Sparring partners:in for technical deep-dives.

DEIN PROFIL Professional experience: You have worked for at least five years in software development, AI solution development or technical advice, including at least one year with a concrete focus on Azure AI or LLM applications in productive use. Azure AI Stack: You can safely use Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Search and bring well-founded experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD in the Microsoft environment. Technical expertise: You have experience in the development of productive AI solutions on the Microsoft AI stack and have solid knowledge in Python and/or C#/.NET. LLMOps confession: You know the typical challenges of productive AI systems, from Inference Latency and Prompt Stability to Model Drift and Evaluation to Cost Control. Agent competence: You bring practical experience in the development and orchestration of AI agents with open integration standards such as MCP and ideally know you in the integration of agents into the development process. Responsible AI & Governance: You understand the risks of generic AI, know common mitigation strategies and regulatory requirements (EU AI Act, GDPR) and have a sense of cost sensitivity when using AI. Language skills: Your very good knowledge of German and good English allows you to communicate safely.
