Plant Operator - Machine Operator / Electrical Engineering / Process Mechanics (m/f/d)

With Passion we produce float glass, extra white glass, laminated safety glass, as well as coated glasses for use in the field of heat and sun protection at our German sites Haldensleben and Osterweddingen, in the French Hombourg and in the Polish Ujazd. You are responsible for the control and operation of the central float glass system – from the oven to the float bath to the cooling channel. The process control system monitors all relevant parameters such as temperature, pressure and glass level to ensure stable plant operation. You actively ensure the high quality of the product by visually controlling the glass band, collecting important data and documenting your results. In close coordination with your shift team, you react to process deviations and contribute to troubleshooting. In addition, ensure a smooth flow of material by moving glass frames securely and professionally by means of glass transporters.

You have completed training as machine and plant leaders, process engineers or a comparable technical qualification. You bring first professional experience in the operation of production facilities and have a good technical understanding. As a real team player, you are characterized by a careful, independent and responsible way of working. You are familiar with the current MS Office applications. For a smooth run in the team, you can communicate safely in German (at least C1 level).
