What you do with us

Central specialist contact for the accounting team, with responsibility in the agreed representation framework for reliable, comprehensible and policy-compliant financial processes. Professional leadership and coordination of the team in booking logics and process processes as well as prioritizing the topics of daily business. Planning and management of regular staff Jour-fixe, follow-up of agreed measures and conduct selected annual discussions – in consultation with the General Manager. Continuous maintenance of the process documentation for Finance & Accounting and continuous further development of the relevant processes. Implementation of permanent controls in the Internal Control System (IKS), determination of control targets, frequencies, responsibilities and evidence as well as closing of identified control gaps – in coordination with the General Manager. Monthly examination of the balance sheet and GuV positions of the German branch for completeness, plausibility and coherence as well as independent clarification of inconsistencies – in compliance with HGB and IFRS.

Completed commercial training with further qualification, for example as a balance sheet holder, or a degree with a focus on finance & accounting. Long-term relevant professional experience in financial accounting and strong security in monthly and annual accounts processes. Funded expertise in the accounting of insurance companies, including technical insurance accounting, according to HGB and IFRS. Safe handling of process documentation and internal control systems, with good understanding of control targets, risks and audit-proof evidence, complemented by analytical strength in the balance sheet and GuV analysis. Management competency in operational business, with clear prioritization to team and stakeholders. Negotiating German and English skills as well as the ability to communicate complex topics clearly, solution-oriented and management-oriented.
