Supplier: Chair of thermodynamics of mobile energy wall systems and Institute of Thermodynamics The Chair of Thermodynamics of Mobile Energy Wall Systems (TME) at RWTH Aachen under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Together with the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics (LTT), Stefan Pischinger is located in the Faculty of Machine Engineering within the Rhine-Westphalian Technical University. At the Chair of Thermodynamics of Mobile Energy Wall Systems (TME) and its Center for Mobile Propulsion (CMP), all research topics relating to mobile drive systems are processed. The internal combustion engine with synthetic fuels, the fuel cell and the battery-electric drive are in focus, always very closely connected to the further development of intelligent test methods and calibration. With our research and our innovative solutions, we design all forms of sustainable mobility. Doctorate in the field of 'hybrid drivetrain / control technology'

• Simulation of partial and complete systems of hybrid motors (Otto/Diesel)

• Construction and testing of controllers and controls on test carriers incl. V2V / V2X

• Support of component test benches

• X-in-the-loop activities (e.g. HiL, MiL, SiL)

• Maintenance of test bench tests

• cooperation in the field of vehicle application

• Complete university degree (master or comparable)

• Precise basic knowledge on the above-mentioned working priorities

• Good computer skills

• Good knowledge of English

• Ability to independent scientific work

• Creativity, flexibility, team orientation

The employment is in the employment relationship. The place shall be occupied at the next possible time and shall be limited to 1 year. A further employment of 2 years is envisaged. The temporary employment is carried out within the framework of the time-limits of the science-time contract law. It is a full-time job. There is a doctoral opportunity.
