Tasks

Contract management:

• Ensure that existing standards of Mercedes-Benz Group AG (MBG AG) are used as far as possible for necessary contracts. To this end, internal areas of expertise for the content

• Local Compliance Responsible (LCR) for the company
• Creation and maintenance of internal instructions and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Regular review of compliance with regulations and internal directives
• Implementation of risk assessments to identify and minimize potential compliance risks
• Design and create regular compliance information as well as coordinate and perform central compliance training
• Advising the management and departments in compliance issues
• Support in the development of measures to resolve compliance violations
• Creation of reports on the status of compliance activities for management and, where appropriate, for the compliance area of MBG AG

Anti-Money Laundering Coordinator

• Support of management in setting up and controlling risk-based money laundering prevention measures at company level
• Technical reporting and reporting in applicable IL Reporting Tools to the AFC (Anti-Financial Crime) department as well as to the managing body with regard to money laundering issues and security measures, e.g. B. local government measures announced or pending in connection with money laundering prevention
• Continuous, at least annual review of local money laundering - legislation and the respective status of the company as obligor within the meaning of the respective national money laundering law.
• Preliminary and immediate information from the AFC Department on suspected moments of money laundering and terrorist financing, provided that local legislation does not preclude it.
• take over the tasks of a multiplier and trainer for training on all money laundering issues at company level according to the training concept of AFC
• Continuing training according to the requirements of AFC
• design, support in the implementation and updating of risk-oriented and the nature and scope of the respective business activities of the company of appropriate control activities (e.g. controls to comply with the group-wide cash limit)

Qualifications

• Complete university or university degree with legal orientation, ideally in the field of law or economic law.
• At least five years of professional experience in the legal department of a company, ideally in the automotive industry with international reference
• Practical experience and sound knowledge in contract, company and commercial law
• Embossed structured analysis and judgment as well as the ability to prepare complex facts independently and intelligibly
