As a designer (m/w/d) for plug-in connectors, you take over challenging development and design tasks in a technologically ground-breaking environment Construction and development of housing components for connectors, including plug interiors, using state-of-the-art 3D printing technologies Development of innovative plastic injection moulding components, in close cooperation with the injection moulding department and the toolmakers Development of strain relief concepts as well as implementation of crimp, tensile and injection-molding tests including matching of the associated manufacturing processes Optional development, design and arrangement for the implementation of sealing solutions in the 2K method Construction of different plug adapters and development of devices Structure of sample lines (including male/female connectors and board housings) for internal functional testing as well as for demonstration and customer presentations

Complete degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, precision engineering or a comparable technical qualification Training or practical experience in the tool construction desirable for injection moulding components Experience in the design of fine-mechanical components, ideally in the field of connectors Funded knowledge of the plastic design Understanding injection moulding processes and manufacturing processes of advantage Safe handling of 3D CAD systems - CATIA V5 knowledge is advantageous (alternative Creo Parametric or Siemens NX) Precise, structured and solution-oriented operation Good knowledge of MS-Office Good knowledge of German and English
