Program advisor for international researchers from North America, Central and South America, Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia in the Department of Funding and Networking (m/f/d)

Contact person for international researchers on all issues of funding and the planning and implementation of research stays. Defining the amount of scholarship, calculating and fixing of other benefits, where appropriate calculable host shares and exchange rates. Defining the start of scholarship, the language institute and the dates of the language scholarship. Examination of documents related to scholarships and awards. Compilation of payment-based documents/ cash orders after acceptance of the scholarship or Prices. Examination of all applications within the framework of alumni funding for formal completeness. Requirement of host reports, if necessary requesting and testing of evidence of use. Personal, telephone and written advice of the scholarship holders Prize winners and accompanying family members in foreign, health and other questions of stay in the host country. Participation in network meetings, annual meetings, round talks, university visits and receptions during the study trip, consultation in individual and group talks in German and English. Coordination of the International Climate Protection Scholarship Programme Central planning and monitoring as well as further development of material processing Perception of multi-programme tasks

Technical/university degree (at least Bachelor) or comparable qualification German and very good English knowledge in word and writing Very good PC application knowledge (Microsoft Office) Further foreign language skills desired Study experience required abroad Knowledge of a foreign scientific and cultural system required and desirable in countries represented in the IKS programme Adequate professional experience with administrative reference in international scientific and cultural institutions and/or public services
