Facility Manager / Technical Facility Management (m/f/d)

Report line & interface function: You report directly to the Head of Facility Management, which is responsible for the department's disciplinary as well as overarching specialist management, and act as a solution-oriented link for operational implementation on the campus area. Professional team leadership: You take over the technical leadership and operational deployment planning for our team in the daily business (Hausmeister/Janitors, Service Desk). Active operational cooperation (hands-on): You understand themselves as part of the team and actively engage in load peaks, urgent disturbances or operational bottlenecks on the surface. Operator Responsibility & Security: You ensure compliance with statutory requirements in the critical areas of fire protection and occupational safety and minimise liability risks in ongoing campus operation. Technical maintenance management: You monitor building technology (TGA), coordinate maintenance and test periods and proactively control the elimination of defects and external craftsmanship. Commercial work: You independently collect offers for upcoming repairs and maintenance, check them professionally and prepare the final award for the department management. Reporting & Documentation: You are responsible for the complete technical documentation and provide regular reports on the operational status of the property to the department management. Service provider control: You control and control our external partners (e.g. cleaning, guard service, winter service) to ensure our high quality standards. Infrastructure Services & Area Management: You are responsible for the access system (closing system), coordinate internal moves and ensure the smooth event and space support for lectures and events.

Qualification: Successfully completed technical training (e.g. masters or technicians in the field of electrical engineering, HKLS or construction engineering) or a comparable qualification in facility management (e.g. specialist). Occupational experience: Finded experience in the operating object management or in the technical building management, ideally in a comparable environment. Leadership & Teamwork: Experience in the professional leadership of operational teams and the express willingness to take part as a model. Working method: Embossed hands-on mentality; You are not a purely desk worker, but solve problems where You arise – directly on the campus. Expertise: Safe handling of the topics of operator responsibility, fire protection and occupational safety. Communication: Very good knowledge of German and good English for communication in an international university environment. IT-Affinity: Safe handling of MS Office and ideally experience with CAFM or ticket systems.
