In Zeiss' Group Research, we initiate and implement future-oriented technologies, development methods and tools that touch all business areas of ZEISS - from lithography optics to medical technology. The “Physics Simulation & Design” group develops the latest approaches and tools to describe and design complex phenomena and systems as physically as possible. You guide the newly formed Physics Simulation & Design group professionally and disciplinaryly

You motivate and develop your team members and live a development-oriented working atmosphere

In close cooperation with all stakeholders, you will ensure excellent results in your group and advance new technologies and working methods.

You ensure that the necessary skills, capacities and technologies are planned, developed and maintained in your group and thus support the strategic development of CRT

You maintain relationships with internal & external development partners of the existing partner network to expand the partner network in key technologies of physical design and simulation.

You work together effectively in the leadership team and jointly develop cross-group and strategic topics of the CRT. You support their cross-group implementation within the CRT and in cooperation with our development partners.

You can provide a very good technical, mathematical or scientific degree. Also welcome with a promotion.

You have several years of relevant professional experience in a development or research department in the field of physical simulation & physical design and you have demonstrated your expertise in various projects.

See have first leadership experience (lateral or already disciplinary) and the ability to inspire others, as well as to advance themes independently and in the team.

You have a pronounced communication and social competence, a sovereign occurrence, a high and proactive readiness to perform and a high degree of enforcement

Very good English and German language skills
