Independently responsible definition and implementation of a global strategy for product groups 6 (crush material) and 7 (processing parts) as well as professional management of strategic procurement worldwide Proactive analysis and optimization of their material group as a specialist for innovative trends and market developments Responsibility for designing a stable and cost-oriented supply chain and supplier network Coordination of purchasing interests with the stakeholders for identifying and implementing cost savings potentials Ensuring successful project execution in cooperation with other purchasing departments Up and expansion of business relationship Interface function in terms of communication to international suppliers

Studies with Business Qualification Knowledge of strategic purchasing in mechanical engineering or purchasing special applications and complex products High technical understanding and practiced handling of technical specifications and drawings Knowledge of steel, casting and materials High affinity for international stakeholders and suppliers, especially in Asia, South and Eastern Europe German and English in word and writing as well as knowledge of common software (SAP R/3, MS Office) Skilled conduct of negotiations combined with a competent and convincing occurrence Team spirit, high commitment, creativity and initiative, readiness to travel
