Tasks, competences and responsibility For our customers from the Greater 74821 Mosbach, we are looking for a bell caster for traditional clay or mason / stucco painter * who wants to work in the area.

A later takeover is planned for suitability

Bell casting in the clay process is a centuries-old technique in which a lost form of clay, sand and organic materials (such as horse man) is used. A brick and clay core is covered with a “false bell” (made of wax/ clay) to form the coat. After drying, melting of the wax and casting of approx. 1100°C hot bronze is destroyed.

Your tasks:

The inner part of the bell (cores) is bricked and shaped with clay. This core is coated in layers with finer clay and dried.

• You work with your hands with various materials such as clay, straw, etc.
• Mixing clay and other compounds
• painting and reworking of the various layers
• Assistance in construction, casting etc.

Your competencies:

• Workable, reliable, and accurate working
• training in a similar area as mason * or stucco painter
• German in word and writing of advantage
• Interest to learn new, extraordinary
