Team Leader Occupational Safety / Senior Specialist for Occupational Safety (m/f/d)

As a central operator for occupational safety at TransnetBW, you report directly to the COO and work closely with the Plant Operation Head in your staff function to effectively address the requirements of an operational area organization. You guide the team of the ordered professionals for occupational safety and fire protection officers and advise managers and employees on all issues of occupational safety and fire protection in accordance with § 6 of the Industrial Safety Act. In addition, develop and maintain communication and training formats on work and fire protection topics. Together with your team, you initiate, design and coordinate measures to continually improve our safety culture and our fire protection. In your role, you work closely with the controllers of related areas such as health, hazardous substances and environmental protection and keep contact with the relevant supervisory authorities.

The basis of your entry is a technical degree, preferably with a focus on safety technology or electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification and first technical professional experience, with as much as possible insights into the topic of occupational safety. You possess the safety technical expertise according to §7 Arbeitssicherheitsgesetz and ideally other technical evidence in fire protection (e.g. fire protection officer) and qualifications in the HSE field. Absolutely you have comprehensive knowledge of occupational health and safety, occupational safety management/system and understanding of contemporary prevention work. You are a consulting and socially-competent team player with organizational talent, who communicates with target groups and has fun in intensive dialogue with interested circles. Last but not least, you are mobile (Guideline Class B) and look forward to regular visits to other locations of TransnetBW.
