Own responsibility and customer-oriented, you work as an underwriter (m/w/d) business operations in the areas of fire industry, fire-operating interruption and other specialist sectors Your core tasks include underwriting as well as the control and monitoring of recovery and earnings improvement measures You prepare drawing decisions that go beyond your own framework of power You support sales channels to promote new business and stock management As Underwriter (m/w/d) analysing, evaluating and modifying cover concepts You conduct specialist talks, including brokers: inside the Hamburg area You design and develop underwriting and process standards and support product management in the creation/development of general insurance conditions and/or framework agreements You actively contribute to multi-disciplinary and multi-species projects and conceptual tasks

You have a pronounced analytical and conceptual ability to think Your customers are at the forefront: With respectful handling, empathy and negotiation skills, you achieve convincing results and always keep the relevant key figures in mind As an underwriter (m/w/d), you have a high degree of decision-making pleasure combined with a high sense of responsibility and a structured way of working You have a well-founded knowledge in the field of insurance as well as insurance technology and you want to further develop yourself professionally You have a successfully completed training in the insurance industry, e.g. as a merchant for insurance and financial investments or a completed economic studies, e.g. in BWL, Economics or Risk and Insurance Since we also work internationally, you bring safe knowledge of English
