Traffic Engineer (Male or Female) for Construction Site Management and Infrastructure Projects (m/f/d)

You plan and evaluate traffic management in the course of road construction measures, coordinate traffic-related coordination with municipalities and other project participants and shape safe traffic management for road transport. Their expertise in civil engineering and transport engineering is used daily. This means: You control the construction site management and coordinate workstation traffic management on federal, regional and circular roads You represent the interests of Hessen Mobil to municipalities, road traffic authorities and the police as a road construction agency within the meaning of the StVO In doing so, you coordinate internal and external coordination processes and work in an interdisciplinary manner with experts from planning, construction and transport You take a position on internal and external planning measures You are active in accident point processing and other road safety work

You have a completed university degree (FH Diploma / Bachelor) in the field of transport engineering, mobility management or civil engineering with a focus on traffic or a comparable qualification You bring knowledge in the field of road and transport and were ideally able to gain practical experience in the planning of traffic management at construction sites, regardless of whether in the profession or as part of an internship or a working student activity Knowledge of the relevant legal bases, in particular the road map (StVO) and the guidelines for securing workstations on roads (RSA) and other technical regulations are advantageous You have a very good oral and written expressability in the German language (comparable level C1 CEFR) You have a valid class B licence
