Your tasks Your tasks include the creation, development, maintenance and maintenance of COBOL applications in IBM Mainframe environments (z/OS) with IMS, DB2 databases SQL procedures and job control processes (JCL). You analyze, design, implement new and advanced applications within a standardized software development process and perform development tests. You carry out Code-Rehearsals for quality assurance. You are a contact person for technical questions in your environment and work closely with your team and the relevant departments. If you additionally know other systems such as SAS or Ab Initio and are open to cross-system developments with Java applications and other database systems, you will have the attractive opportunities for your further development.

That's what you bring You have a completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a comparable degree and/or have experiences as an application developer in the IBM major calculator environment z/OS. You have good knowledge of COBOL and SQL. You are safe in dealing with relational databases (DB2 or others). We are also pleased if you have knowledge of Assembler, MQ, JCL, REXX, File-Aid, SQL, Spufi, Sort-Utility, Control-M and TSO/ISPF or the interest of working in it. You have fun and enjoy complex challenges and work in the team as well as interest in exploring and understanding relationships. Very good knowledge of German and English complete your profile.
