Your role as a process engineer in the field of optical production, you are technically responsible for the processing of optical components along the entire production chain

with our fine optics Several manufacturing process steps, such as various grinding, polishing and correction methods

analyze and improve technological processes and their integration into production

You create measurement systems for process monitoring and collect measurement data that you subsequently prepare, analyze and interpret

in self-responsibility plan independent technological experiments, perform these until evaluation and transfer the results into production

with your expertise to advance the use of improved technologies and new machines together with us

the independent management of projects as well as the participation of a technical advisory role for the adjacent areas belongs to your profile as well as the interaction with all the participating interfaces and the employees within the production

a successfully completed engineering degree in the field of laser and opto technology, precision engineering or mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification in a similar field as e.g. Physics, Natural Sciences

relevant experience in optics technology and/or optics production (optimally solid basic knowledge of optical processing methods such as polishing in the field of circular or planar optics)

knowledge of manual and CNC-controlled machines and their programming

desirable experience in process optimization (Lean Management, Six Sigma) and Trouble Shooting as well as data analysis with relevant programs

a pronounced communication strength with an analytical, structured, empirical and self-responsible mode of operation

Basic knowledge of English and occasional willingness to travel abroad
