Administrative Specialist | Lawyer (f/m/d) for the case processing in the social welfare office – basic security and help with living expenses

With over 1,300 employees, the Landratsamt Konstanz is one of the largest employers in the region. Our around 30 specialist offices offer a wide range of career prospects and the opportunity to shape the district of Konstanz in a sustainable manner. The Department of Civil Protection at the age and in the case of a reduction in employment, as well as assistance to the maintenance of the social welfare office, is responsible for central tasks in the social security system. Our team advises people in economic emergencies that have reached the retirement age limit or are not able to work for medical reasons, and secures a decent life through financial help.

To support the team, we are looking for a specialist (w/m/d) with expertise in social and administrative law at the earliest possible time.

Advice & Information: You inform and advise applicants and beneficiaries comprehensively. Examination of the application: You will examine and decide independently on applications for assistance to livelihood (3rd Chapter SGB XII) as well as basic insurance for old age and reduction in employment (4th Chapter SGB XII). Payment of benefit: You will ensure the proper payment of the approved financial assistance.

Career examination for the up-market non-technical administrative service, the degree as an administrative expert, a completed first legal state exam or a comparable degree. Ideally, first experience in the application and interpretation of legal standards and knowledge in general administrative law. Safe handling of current MS Office applications. Empathy, team skills and sense of responsibility. Self-employed, service-oriented and reliable operation.

Flexibility: Full or part-time with 50%, sliding time control, home office option and a working time account for leisure compensation. Security: Payment to pay group 9c TVöD (3.787,84 – 5.220.52 Euro in full time) or grade A10 LBesO BW.
