Managing Director Travel Insurance (m/f/d)

Our travel insurance business is in an exciting development phase: structures are present, partners are established - now it is about developing the business actively, developing new, in particular digital distribution channels and developing growth. Your tasks:

As a co-manager (m/w/d), you take responsibility for the travel insurance business - with a lot of design space and back cover of the group: Active development and scaling of the travel insurance business with a clear focus on growth and sales Structure and control of powerful sales structures (B2B, cooperation partner, tour operators, digital platforms) Digitization and optimization of core business processes Identification and implementation of new business opportunities, products and sales approaches Responsibility for revenue, earnings and budget – with pragmatic, entrepreneurial view Close cooperation with insurers, cooperation partners and group leaders Step by step takeover and further development of leadership responsibility for a small, powerful team Active role as “face of business” to partners and in the market Important: This role is explicitly also aimed at individuals who want to take the next step. You don't have to be managing director or managing directors at the moment - ambition, readiness to learn, will and energy are crucial to take responsibility. You grow into the role with the support of the managing partner.

Experience in the insurance or financial services environment, ideally related to travel, special or sales products Experience in the marketplace and e-commerce environment Knowledge and experience in digitalization of processes Strong sales drive, implementation strength and desire for business development Entrepreneurial thinking and action: You recognize opportunities, meet decisions and pragmatically implement them First leadership experience or clear motivation to take responsibility for people and results High self-initiative, enforcement and readiness to change Communication strength and safe occurrence in dealing with partners and decision-makers No “administrator set” – but the desire for building, growth and development
