Number: MER0003KHV The drive concepts of the future are developed in the department of advancement drive units & mechatronics. The units are completely redesigned with regard to their functions and efficiency and are constructed as prototypes. The Materials & Components for Future Powertrain team tests materials such as high-performance adhesives with critical applications in electric machines. We offer you the opportunity to get deep insights into the development of electric drives and to experience the everyday life of a development engineer*in/development engineer close to the skin. You will do the following tasks: Preparation of experiments by preparation and bonding of joints performing quasi-static and dynamic tensile tests as well as component-related load tests on prototype components under different environmental conditions Independent coordination, organisation and implementation of the work Evaluation and documentation as well as presentation of results in the form of PowerPoint short reports, presentation of results in the core team round Introduction of the following intern in the activities listed above General supporting tasks in day-to-day business Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.

Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, electromobility, vehicle technology, material science, material technology German and English in word and writing Secure handling of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Matlab Teamability, reliability, technical skills in laboratory applications and measurements Analytical thinking, abstraction ability, high degree of self-responsibility Enthusiasm for innovative eDrives and automobiles Class B driving licence Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
