What awaits you:

• As a senior expert and technical project manager, you are actively involved in the development of Vodafone glass fibers in Germany.
• You are part of a project team responsible for the design, planning and construction of telecommunications networks in municipalities and counties in publicly funded and unfunded projects and their integration into the entire network.
• You ensure the detailed, approval and execution planning of the network to be built in the corresponding projects, taking into account the economic, technical and regulatory frameworks and coordinates the planning offices.
• You monitor the services of the civil engineering companies, consider a good relationship with the competent offices of the municipalities and cities and ensure the timely realization of the projects until they are transferred to the lifecycle.
• You run an active stakeholder management to all internal interfaces in networks as well as project acquisitions and marketing teams.
• You have an active role in budget management and provide transparency to management through clear communication and structured project reporting.

What distinguishes you:

• Complete university studies or a comparable qualification with at least 5 years of experience in the field of communications technology, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, etc.
• Practical experience as project manager to control heterogeneous teams from internal experts and external partner companies.
• Very good knowledge of the construction of fiber optic networks in both passive and active network elements.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering techniques and broad experience in the design of processes and workflows for the planning and construction of glass fiber networks, in particular the framework conditions of publicly funded expansion projects.
• High responsiveness, reliability and team capacity as well as excellent communication and information skills.
• Federal mobility for project-specific requirements as well as the readiness for day-to-day activity at the customer location.
• Good English knowledge in word and writing (B2 to GER).

This body can be exercised in fulltime or full-time part-time (min. 30 hours).

We occupy this position at the locations Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Berlin, Unterföhring, Eschborn, Ratingen and Nuremberg for Vodafone GmbH or at the locations Unterföhring and Nuremberg for Vodafone Deutschland GmbH.
