My tasks:

Reading and understanding of technical drawings and welding instructions. Selection of suitable additional materials (wire, electrodes) and protective gases. Preparation of workpieces (e.g. cleaning, grinding, tearing or positioning). Testing and setting of welding equipment and testing of welding parameters (e.g. current, gas quantity). Testing of welded joints for quality, stability and tightness (visually or by special testing methods). After machining welds, for example by grinding, to produce a smooth surface.

My profile:

A completed vocational training in the metal sector, e.g. as metal builders, welders, plant mechanics or similar professions. Knowledge gained in handling metal active gas welding (MAG) and the necessary materials, protective gases and devices. Work under physical stress – even in heat, dust or noise. Cooperation with colleagues in production or assembly.
