You take over the planning and design of network security as well as the realization and professional management of the operation of the measures and observe the normative and legal compliance and safety requirements As part of a motivated 3 team, you will ensure that the central SAN infrastructure with the associated storage services remains stable, performant and forward-looking. The architectural and technical responsibility for administration, optimization and further development is crucial to you You take over the architectural planning, operation and further development of our central virtualization platform and provide high availability, smart resource management and clever automation with colleagues. Initiate, plan and run autonomous infrastructure projects In addition, design and optimize the operating processes in the data center, define technical requirements and ensure compliance with internal and external standards You plan and document changes and ensure that the data in the CMDB are always up-to-date and complete You create and maintain technical documentation on systems, services and processes and thus contribute significantly to ensuring that transparency, maintenance and knowledge sharing work in everyday work You can also manage the IT inventory (from hardware to licenses), the professional control of maintenance and support contracts, and cost-optimized license management as well as compliance checks When it comes to new technologies, you are at the forefront as a team: you bring your expert knowledge, take responsibility in evaluating new technologies and accompany the process from the idea to practical, innovative solution

You have successfully completed university studies in the IT sector (e.g. computer science, technical computer science, business informatics) or completed IT vocational training (e.g. professional informatics for system integration), combined with multiannual professional experience Through your professional practice, you can demonstrate profound experience in the design and implementation of network security in compliance with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27000er family and/or BSI standards 200-1 to 200-4, administration and further development of IT infrastructures in Linux and Windows environment, in particular with VM Ware - Proxmox VE and DataCore SANsymphony You have experience with storage technologies (iSCSI, NFS, Snapshots, Thin Provisioning) as well as knowledge in automation and monitoring You can also experience the management, planning and documentation of IT infrastructure projects (e.g. migrations, capacity expansions) and knowledge in the IT inventory and license management incl. Reporting budget management You have a reliable knowledge of German and good English in word and writing A pronounced self-conductivity and a structured working method are your strengths With your good analytical knowledge, you are able to process issues that arise in a solution-oriented and independent manner You have good communicative skills and enjoy working both in the team and in cross-departmental projects This activity requires participation in the 24/7 readiness
