Pedagogical Project Management (w/m/d)

for “Experience Policy – Democracy”

for 19.5 hours, weekly, limited for 5 years

“Experience politics – experiencing democracy” is an innovative project for political education in simple and light language. It is aimed in particular at people with intellectual impairment and people with learning difficulties. The aim is to make political connections and democratic processes understandable, low-swell and practical.

You bring with:

• successfully completed training in the field of education or a similar qualification
• Theatrical pedagogical or artistic pedagogical skills
• Practical experience in political education
• experience and joy in work with people with disabilities and a value-adding and discriminatory-sensitive attitude
• Experience in the planning and management of groups and workshops
• Team skills and joy in cooperative cooperation
• Self-employed, structured and flexible working
• intercultural competence and openness for different life realities
• The advantage is:
• Experience in political education and in intersectional work
• Knowledge in simple or light language
• Experience in the design of social media contributions and podcasts
• Experience in network work
• Contacts to social, political or cultural actors in town and county Gießen

Your tasks include:

• Management, coordination and organisation of the project in the team
• Development of creative formats for political education, especially in the areas of theatre and performance
• Planning and management of group offers and workshops on political and social issues
• Creating understandable educational materials for people with disabilities
• Establishment and maintenance of a network with political, social and cultural institutions as well as actors in the city and district of Gießen
• Planning and support in public relations for the project
• Creation of social media contributions and podcasts on political topics
• Cooperation with the participating areas within the life aid Gießen
