The Children's Cancer Foundation was founded in 1995 and has set itself the task of helping children and young people suffering from cancer and their families. The foundation employs about 50 employees. As Head of Department, you are responsible for building and managing the Department of Psychosocial Topics and Aftercare within the German Children's Cancer Foundation. They are responsible for the advice and networking of actors in the field of psychosocial issues and aftercare. They shall cooperate with internal and external bodies and institutions. In addition, you are engaged in lobbying in the area of health policy and aftercare. The organisation and implementation of information events, training and workshops are your responsibility.

They have an academic qualification in social work, social education, medicine, psychology or comparable. Your multiannual professional experience in psychosocial counselling, care and care, your leadership experience as well as your skills in the development and implementation of post-care programs enable you to take over the management of the department. They are characterized by your communication strength, empathy and team skills. With your flexibility you can quickly adapt to different situations and requirements.
