In the ''Manufacturing Execution & Operations'' team, we are responsible for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) sizes for the control of the production and assembly processes in raw construction, the Gewerk-specific body sorter, in the Powertrain (motors, transmissions, axes, electric drivetrain, batteries) as well as partial volumes in vehicle assembly. We are now looking for student support for the field of professional architecture of our product clusters within the production control and control system ''PLUS'. Your activities give you exciting insights into the global production network of Mercedes-Benz and the processes of large IT products and projects. These challenges come to you: Analysis of the decentralized information landscape Conception of data acquisition and preprocessing Design of a semantic data model Architecture concept for an AI agent Prototype implementation (focused aspect) Evaluation of the prototype The final topics will be discussed with the university, you and us. The activity can start from January 2026.
