Technician/Engineer as Design Engineer Siemens NX (m/f/d)

You develop and construct sophisticated components and assemblies with Siemens NX, creating the basis for functional, reliable and manufacturing-oriented technical solutions. Create and optimize 3D models as well as technical drawings from the first constructive idea to the detailed development and accompany diverse development projects over different phases of the project. Existing designs will be developed in a targeted manner, identify technical optimization possibilities and thus contribute to efficient and economically feasible solutions. In your design, you take into account materials, manufacturing processes, installation spaces, tolerances and technical interfaces and ensure that products that are suitable for practice are created from concepts. Design and product data maintain you structured in team center and thus create a reliable basis for transparent development and change processes. In exchange with development, calculation, production and project management, you clarify technical issues and gain a wide range of insights into adjacent disciplines. Also in the case of constructive changes and technical optimizations, you will introduce your ideas and make an important contribution to the quality, functional reliability and feasibility of the developed systems.

Whether continuing training as a technician in mechanical engineering or shipbuilding technology or a completed engineering degree in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, in automotive engineering or aerospace engineering – your technical qualification is the basis for quickly working into different design tasks and for shaping challenging development projects in the maritime and military environment. You bring together first or multi-year experience in mechanical design and want to use and further deepen your knowledge in versatile component and component development. With Siemens NX you already work practically and use your knowledge securely for the creation and processing of 3D models as well as technical drawings. Ideally, you already know team centers from practice and use your experience for a structured management of design and product data. Your understanding of production-oriented design, tolerances, materials and manufacturing processes helps you to transfer technical requirements into loadable and practical solutions. Complex technical relationships quickly capture and combine analytical thinking with a careful and solution-oriented way of working. As technical coordination and an essential part of the specifications and documentation are carried out in German, you have German knowledge on at least C1 level.
