These are your tasks

• Psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of patients as part of station equivalent treatment (StäB)
• Implementation of house visits within the StäB
• Participation in weekend services under the StäB team's schedule
• Accompanying the transition from the stationary setting
• Outpatient treatment of patients via the Institute's Hospital & Networking with the activities of the StäB team
• Cooperation in the further development of these patient-oriented, modern services
• Continuing scientific accompanying research on the StäB and, if desired, active participation in scientific projects
• Possibility to establish your own therapeutic offers and your own diagnostic priorities
• Upon request, release of standby services
• Possibility of promotion

Who we are

In the Department General Psychiatry 2 (Chair doctor: Prof. Dr. med. L. Schilbach, Head physician: Dr. med. D. Kamp) of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, we offer our patients a close interlocking of stationary, semi-stationary and outpatient treatment, which also includes looking treatment instructions. In addition to the fully-stationary area, the Centre offers a daily clinic and ambulance in the day-to-day clinic and ambulance centre (TAZ) at the university hospital location and a psychiatric institute ambulance at two locations.

The department offers specialized counselling and treatment services for persons with a first-time schizo-phrenic disease and chronic psychosis, affective diseases, persons with an autism-spectrum disorder, forced disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity syndromes (ADHS) and other disorders of social interaction. In the context of multimodal therapy regimes, in addition to medicamental treatment, the psychothera-peutic treatment and the further development of the same in the sense of a transdiagnostic approach to strengthening social interaction ability and participation are important focal points.

The LVR-Klinikum Düsseldorf leads departments for general psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatic medicine, child and youth psychiatry/psychotherapy/psychosomatics, neurology and forensics with a total of 724 beds/plätzen and employs around 1,500 employees. The obligation to provide services consists of 530,000 inhabitants of the Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf.

The landscape association Rheinland (LVR) works as a municipal association with around 21,000 employees for the 9.7 million people in the Rhineland. With its 41 schools, ten clinics, 20 museums and cultural institutions, four youth aid institutions, the Landesjugendamt and the Heilpädagogischer Hilfe association, he performs tasks that are carried out throughout the Rhine. “Quality for people” is his guiding principle.
