Engineer in Architecture Construction (m/w/d)

We are looking for the building office of the state capital of Stuttgart. The place is to be occupied in parttime (at least 60 %)/full time and indefinitely. Their field of activity in the Construction Contracts Service Centre and in the field of “Architect and Engineering Contracts” lies in the procurement of architectural and engineering services. The subject area “Architects and Engineering Contracts” produces approx. 650 architectural and engineering contracts for the entire city administration, performs up to 40 VgV procedures in the upper threshold range and up to 5 RPW 2013 competitions. The service also includes consultancy services for disputed contract statements and the offer of seminars on contract and contract law.

You formulate and test architectural and engineering contracts based on HOAI incl. Coordination of contracts with project management and the Office for Revision You conduct negotiations with the freelance workers You maintain VgV procedures You accompany RPW competitions Your duties include consulting the construction departments of the technical offices and private enterprises in contractual matters and in disputed fee settlements Basic tasks in the field of contract law, analysis of legislative and contractual developments, implementation of training for employees of technical offices and self-employed persons A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

A completed study (Diplom-Ingenieur/-in FH/TU/Bachelor/Master) in the field of architecture, civil engineering and Construction management or persons with equivalent knowledge and professional experience Good knowledge of general construction management Current knowledge in the field of engineering contracts (work contract law, HOAI) and in procurement law (GWB, VgV) desirable Comprehensibility, negotiation skills and differentiated expressiveness Willingness to cooperate and team work and flexibility to take over new tasks Very good knowledge of German in word and writing as well as knowledge of languages
