Technical Product Designer BU FET (m/w/d)

Development and optimization of production processes for filter elements - with focus on welding, adhesive and automated production technologies Construction of 3D components and assemblies (including devices and production aids) with Solid Edge Management and maintenance of CAD data in PLM systems such as D3/Compact (signing releases, revision management, archive maintenance) Qualification and validation of new production processes and products by means of structured analyses and testing methods Interface work between research & development, production, sales and other areas

Training as a technical product designer / technical designer or completed studies in mechanical engineering Found experience in the design and testing of filter elements (e.g. gas coalescer, particle filter) incl. Expertise in welding and adhesive processes (length and round seams) Knowledge of the automation of manufacturing and testing processes, e.g. by using assembly devices and test plans Safe handling of Solid Edge for 3D design, drawing department and variant management Experience with the Solid Edge API and Excel-based configurators is beneficial Experience with PLM systems such as Team Center for Management of CAD Data, Revision Stands and Release Processes Understanding FMEA, testing planning, ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3-process audits Ability to document and implement quality-relevant requirements Analytical thinking, independent working and team skills Communication strength, especially in the interdisciplinary environment
