Project Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

You support the control and optimization of purchase-relevant and project-related activities in customer projects – from the start to the end of the warranty. You are responsible for achieving the defined purchasing goals within the projects in terms of quality, cost and time (e.g. reporting, procurement planning, etc.). You initiate and conduct independently ongoing measures to reduce costs and avoid delays in delivery – always in coordination with the subproject manager procurement. You ensure compliance with the product group strategy with the project suppliers permitted by the customer. You support the management of project success through KPI evaluations and contribute to the further development of the procurement process. You check that customer-side requirements are met with respect to the delivery scope. You support the competent department in the development of project-specific purchase contracts (back‐to-back from customer contracts). You support the subproject manager procurement and, if necessary, take over the role of the subproject manager procurement. You make sure that the project management is integrated in the awarding committee.

You have a degree in economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you can already provide first professional experience in strategic purchasing and project work and keep track of contract negotiations and designs. Your technical and commercial understanding allows you to understand the tasks and needs of upstream and downstream departments in the process. You have very good methodological knowledge, in particular on project management methods, as well as knowledge of procurement markets and strategies. Since our projects are worldwide, you are ready to regularly national and international missions and have very good German and English knowledge in word and writing. You have high enforcing power, willingness to take responsibility and strong self-motivation to achieve your goals. You can easily and comprehensiblely represent complex facts and communicate them over all hierarchy levels. You work independently and profit-oriented, bring with you a pronounced analytical ability, negotiation skills, persuasiveness and a high team orientation.
