The Klinik für Innere Medizin, Pneumologie und Gastroenterologie des Pius-Hospitals treats over 6,000 stationary patients from the entire Weser-Ems area with a catchment area of more than 2.5 million per year. People and covers the entire internalist spectrum. The clinic has effective processes, dedicated and qualified staff; it is technically (Olympus) and structurally equipped at a high level. The Gastroenterology department is part of the visceraloncological center (Darm, Pancreatic and Gastric Cancer Center) at the Pius Hospital and has all major gastroenterological diagnostic and therapy procedures. Among others, ERCP, cholangioscopy, endosonography including punctures and drainages, surgical-endoscopic techniques such as mucosectomies and submucosadissections, abdominal sonography incl. Doppler and contrast-enhancing processes and puncture/drainages as well as functional diagnostics (manometry, pH-Metrie, breathing tests).

We are looking for a regulated successor to 1. July 2026 full-time Head of the Department of Gastroenterology for our clinic for internal medicine, pneumology and gastroenterology.
