As Category Manager (gn), you support the relevant buyer in the planning and implementation of our purchasing and merchandising strategy in the Plant/Substrate department. The identification of future trends or Innovation is your first priority. Accordingly, assortment and supplier analyses determine your daily business. You will deal with all aspects of the assortment purchase, with your buyer as an orientation and model. In this function you will quickly take responsibility and maintain smaller shopping projects independently. Working directly on the product, our product range can lead to success in a sustainable way, giving you the opportunity to establish a firm size in the team. Your tasks include the analysis of key figures as well as the preparation of assortment lists and supplier negotiations. You work with several colleagues in a dynamic, motivated team. As a central communication partner, you also address external and internal enquiries about your product range.

You have a completed commercial or technical study, alternatively a completed commercial training as a gardener/in or florist/in and ideally brings professional experience in the purchase of plants/substrate. Botanical knowledge, plant knowledge or knowledge in the field of outdoor/room plants are desirable. You benefit from your creativity and your interest in learning new things. In addition, you have fun in business evaluations and key figures analyses that accompany your daily work. Your profile is complemented by good MS Office and SAP skills.
