You are responsible for the supplier quality management of optical components such as lenses, prisms and mirrors, including the security of parts availability and the avoidance of complaints throughout the entire product life cycle. The processing of first samples according to DIN EN 9102 and of manufacturing and testing processes at the supplier is also one of your tasks. In case of problems in the manufacturing and testing process with suppliers, you will accompany the problem analysis and the definition and conversion of corrective measures by the supplier. Your tasks include the planning, implementation and presentation of system and process audits as well as the acceptance of delivery items from suppliers. You represent the quality perspective for technical reviews in the product development phase of the supplier with the development.

You have a technical study, e.g. a precision engineering study, optics, or a study of optical technologies, successfully completed and ideally have multiannual specialist professional experience. You possess essential methods of quality such as 8D process, 5 Why, Ishikawa etc. and also have basic knowledge of DIN ISO 10110. You will be familiar with the cooperation with colleagues in across-the-range teams and the handling of suppliers. You will be able to use your knowledge of English in a reliable manner, and you will also be ready for regular national and international missions.
