Your Contribution You are responsible for commissioning, upgrades and updates of internally developed or purchased camera-based inspection systems; at suppliers in Switzerland and within SCHOTT's global production network.
You will perform FAT/SAT and qualification according to GMP and ensure documentation.
At our sites, you will train local employees and experts from maintenance and production departments.
You identify potential for improvement in systems and processes and pass this feedback on to the development team.
You ensure 2nd level support for all test equipment within the production network and coordinate the interface to the necessary supporting units (e.g. 3rd level support competence center, plants) or suppliers.
You are the inspection systems expert within the global machine network and can so act as project manager for rollout or upgrade projects if required.
Your Profile Your professional background is a technical apprenticeship; you have already completed further training as a TS technician.
You have at least 6 years of professional experience in the maintenance of global production machines/systems; it would be an advantage if you have already gained experience with camera-based systems.
You have strong analytical and conceptual skills, coupled with a solution-oriented and highly methodical working style.
You are a motivating personality who proactively solves challenges independently and as part of a team.
Very good command of German and English is mandatory, an additional language is a plus.
You are willing to travel regularly to our worldwide production sites, travel activity 40 to 60%.
