Engineer as plant manager for floating plants

We make port: With great passion, we keep running the infrastructure of the Port of Hamburg around the clock. We are more than 1,900 HPA colleagues who drive forward advanced ideas to develop Hamburg's heart and make the port a bit more sustainable every day. The Floating Equipment Center is responsible for the smooth and safe operation of 174 plants in the Port of Hamburg. These include, inter alia, the movable and fixed access bridges, pontoons, ship maintenance sites, water stairs, water ridges, atomizers or protective seals. We are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the plants. We carry out maintenance and inspection tasks or commission their implementation. At the same time, the team advises both internal and external customers on issues relating to the roadworthiness of the floating systems. Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! You monitor the rules and make sure that inspections, maintenance and tests on floating plants and technical facilities are carried out properly. You plan and implement maintenance measures and work closely with plant engineers:inside and demand carriers. In the event of accidents, disturbances or emergencies, you quickly and coordinate emergency measures as well as readiness. The maintenance of technical master data, the documentation of construction tests and swimming skills certificates as well as the management of documents are also part of your responsibility. You take over project management tasks as organizational and planning contractor performance (§ 31 HOAI). The design and testing of tender and award documents for example pontoons, dams, water stairs etc. and the evaluation of these offers is also within your area of responsibility. You accompany and monitor new and remodelling measures of landings, ship moorings, piles / dwarves of the HPA.

You have a degree in the field of civil engineering or equivalent skills and knowledge. Experience in the maintenance of technical facilities and structures is ideally your experience. You have a good basic understanding in the fields of construction, mechanical engineering, wood and electrical engineering as well as in steel water construction and in the technical building equipment. At best you already have experience in the new building of Ponton and Dalbenliegeplatzen. Good knowledge in the field of administrative and construction contract law as well as VOB, VOL and HOAI are of advantage. You have first knowledge in business planning as well as in project management and management techniques. A strong customer orientation and team-abilities are what distinguishes you.
