Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Bringing concrete practical problems and applications from the craft (e.g. SHK installation, cold/air conditioning, pipe systems) into the product development process Description of typical workflows, installation situations and construction site conditions as basis for project ideas, BODs and load booklets formulation and evaluation of requirements from the point of view of the craftsman (handling, ergonomics, speed, robustness, safety of work) Customer acceptance tests (CATs) with prototypes and function patterns Practical testing of competitive products in typical applications

Completed training in SHK craftsmanship, refrigeration-climate technology, pipe, duct and industrial service Ideally complemented by a further education to master or technician Safe handling of pipe processing, installation or service tools; ideally experience with ROTHENBERGER products or comparable systems Experience in carrying out tests/test series or practical testing of new tools and working methods desirable Application-proof MS‐Office identifiers Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing are advantageous High affinity for technical products and pleasure in “testing” tools and machines Open and team-oriented personality, safe in handling customers, technicians and internal interfaces High commitment, reliability and flexibility as well as readiness for regular (international) outdoor operations (construction sites, customer appointments, trade fairs)
