Data Governance Manager (m/f/d)

Support for the development and introduction of a company-wide data governance framework (Ownership Models, Maturity Model, Tiering/Classification System) Creation, maintenance and enforcement of data governance policies, guidelines and processes (e.g. for data classification, access management, data retention) Implementation of Data-Maturity-Assessments, derivation of roadmaps and monitoring of progress and KPI measurements Coordination and continuous cooperation with stakeholders from departments, IT, compliance, data protection and product teams to establish governance practices Conception of processes for metadata management Accompanying data diversity initiatives and interconnecting governance with data diversity measurements and remediation processes Development and implementation of training, communication plans and change management measures to anchor governance culture

Multiannual experience in building and operating data governance programs, ideally in the retail environment Knowledge of governance frameworks and best practices (e.g. DAMA, DCAM) as well as experience with maturity models and data classification Experience in creating and operating policies and processes Strong stakeholder management and experience in the moderation of cross-departmental working groups Knowledge of metadata management Communication strength as well as experience in training and change management. Centnisse in Metadata Management, first experiences with data catalog, data quality tools Basic technical understanding (e.g. SQL, data architecture); Programming skills (e.g. Python) are advantageous Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
