We are looking for you for the building law office of the state capital of Stuttgart. The posts must be occupied without delay.

The works law office performs the tasks of the lower building law authority with its around190 employees. Special buildings within the Audit Office and special buildings department are responsible for the implementation of fire prevention schemes and for the removal of the use of suspended buildings and for the construction control and construction monitoring of large construction projects subject to approval throughout the city. A job that enthuses you

• They conduct fire prevention in objects with normal to high complexity
• As part of your tasks, you can independently and independently supervise construction measures from normal to complex difficulty (e.g. sales facilities, assembly facilities and similar installations)
• In addition to the pure construction monitoring, you also judge fire protection in the construction law approval procedure for the above-mentioned buildings
• It is also part of the task of removing the use of flying structures with normal hazard potential

Your profile that suits us

• A completed study in the field of civil engineering, architecture, fire protection, safety technology or a comparable qualification (for foreign degrees, an official certificate on the equivalence of the degree to the German educational system is required) or
• A degree as a state-tested technician in the field of construction technology or master in the building industry (Maurer- or Zimmererhandwerk) with experience with a lower construction law authority or in the construction supervision of a public administration or a qualification as a specialist planner for fire protection with several years of professional experience in this field
• Intensified knowledge of the relevant building regulations, including the relevant special building regulations (e.g. assembly shop regulation, sales shop regulation, administrative regulation of existing buildings, administrative regulation of fire prevention etc.) are advantageous
• Physical suitability for carrying out the tasks in the field of external services and the associated visit of construction sites, construction facilities and venues
• High level of sense of responsibility and the ability to implement the assigned tasks in a targeted manner
• In addition, a high degree of decision-making competence, enforcement capacity and communication skills as well as a very good linguistic and written expressiveness in German language
