We develop future concepts, technologies, components and materials for Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans. We are researching the latest technologies for development and working with world leaders in the fields of interior, exterior, digitalization, smart materials, 3D printing, new E/E technologies and components and systems. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated trainee or working student for our project 'Future Interaction Technologies', where we work at the interface of technology and design. This includes researching new UX technologies, interaction concepts and human-AI collaboration, from idea discovery to prototyping, to make technologies and visions achievable. With us, you take responsibility for rapid UI/UX and hardware prototyping as well as for technology & design research and supported in the Daily Business.

These challenges include: Rapid-digital and HW prototyping of UX concepts CAD design prototype development with Arduino (programming, soldering, measuring technology) 3D printing for prototypes and models Future Concepting Human-AI Collaboration Technology and Design Research UX/UI prototyping

The activity can begin from June 2026.

A place of study for IoT, industrial/interaction design or a comparable course of study (at least in the 3rd semester) Safe handling of CAD programs such as Siemens NX, Blender, Rhino3D or comparable systems Arduino Programming 3D printing and rapid prototyping Basic knowledge of prototyping tools such as Figma and ProtoPie and Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of Human-AI Collaboration (of advantage) High self-initiative as well as creativity, motivation and team skills Impressed curiosity and readiness to learn A structured and independent operation German and English knowledge in word and writing Valid passenger car license class B (for Germany)
