Network Specialist IT/OT (m/f/d)

For the further expansion of the IT and security landscape of museums, we are looking for an IT security and network specialist (m/w/d), who actively contributes to building a modern, resilient and future-proof infrastructure. In an environment with increasing requirements for cyber security, system availability and operational security, you play a key role in securing and developing digital and technical systems. You work at the interface of IT, OT and security and together with internal teams and external partners create a robust and scalable system landscape. You can not only operate existing systems, but also actively develop new standards, architectures and safety concepts. The position offers you a high degree of design space, direct influence on the safety strategy of museums and the opportunity to develop professionally in a dynamic and safety-critical environment. The workplace is Potsdam.

Your tasks: Planning, installation and maintenance of the museum network infrastructure Management and monitoring of relevant service providers in the fields of networking and digitalization in museums Accompanying external audits and reviews in museums Monitoring and Troubleshooting of Disorders Together with External Service Providers Processing of technical support requests (error analysis and troubleshooting) Administration of server and storage systems as well as specialist applications such as cash systems together with external service providers Project support with documentation

completed computer science studies (Bachelor, Master or Diploma) or alternatively completed IT training in the field of technical informatics, system electronics, control technology, information electronics with several years of professional experience or comparable Ideally experience with server technologies, virtualization and backups Experience in building and functioning of data networks/network design IT Security Experience Knowledge of IDS/IPS and SIEM systems Knowledge of OT protocols (BACnet, FICONET, TwinCat etc.) Ideally knowledge in the handling of hazard detection systems (BMA, EMA. ÜMA) Ideally knowledge in handling hazard management systems (Winguard, Gemos, etc.) Embossed service and consulting orientation Analytical, independent and structured working and team skills Very good German knowledge (flowing), English of advantage Openness for training and the willingness to work in new technologies and systems. Clear and understandable communication, especially in cooperation with external service providers and internal teams. Ability to work independently, to take responsibility for tasks and to comply with appointments. Impressed service orientation and communication skills to process customer requests friendly and professional. High levels of analytical thinking and the ability to solve technical problems efficiently.
