Occupational therapist (m/f/d)

As an ergotherapist in our department for physiotherapy MEDICO, you can make a valuable contribution to the recovery of our patients in various areas: pain therapy, geriatrics and intensive care. You carry out individual therapies (including ADL training) aimed at promoting cognitive, motor and psychosocial functions. You independently plan and document the therapy units and adapt the treatment to the progress and individual goals of the patients. You work closely with colleagues from the fields of physiotherapy, care and medical care to ensure a holistic care of the patients. You advise and guide patients as well as their relatives to facilitate the use of tools and to promote self-employment in everyday life. You inform patients, family members and nurses about the planned and ergotherapeutic treatment. You evaluate your treatment according to current scientific standards and observe our clinic-specific standards for quality assurance. Your work will only take place on weekdays.

You bring a completed vocational training as an ergotherapist*in. You are very collaborative with colleagues in the department as well as interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation. You have a high sense of responsibility - your patient. You have detailed knowledge of different illness and injury images and can specifically address them with your therapy options. You have great pleasure in contact with people of different ages and quickly find access to them. You can coordinate and structure your tasks well and take constructive criticism at any time.
