For our Hamburg location we are now looking for backup: Product Developer (m/w/d) You develop price-attractive, high-quality bikes and e-bikes for the discount. Your mission: target-group-oriented products with a strong value for money – from the first concept to the market launch. Does this sound exciting for you? Then we'll get you.

End-to-end product development: You develop bikes and e-bikes for the discount market from the first idea to the standard maturity – including specification, patterns, tests and SOP. Cost and value analyses: You perform target costing as well as optimizing the piece lists and make sure that we offer the best quality at the best price. Supplier control: You enter and tax animal/animal 2 suppliers from sourcing to series release, locally in Asia and with European partners. Quality and Compliance: You prepare exams and accompany them, work closely with external testing institutes and take care of documentation and release. Cross-functional vote: You work closely with purchasing, quality, design/marketing and aftersales throughout the product development process. Continuous improvement: You will be the best market and competition and will guide optimizations for features, materials, assembly and service.

You have completed a technical training or a technical study (e.g. as a two-wheeled mechanic:in, industrial mechanic:in or mechatronic:in, in product development, etc.) You have several years of experience in the bicycle industry (e.g. manufacturers, brands, suppliers or distributors), ideally in the field of development/product management. You have sound components know-how (frame, drive, brakes, wheels; for pedelecs: battery, motor, control). You are sovereign in cost management (BOM optimization, value engineering) and in series or series Industrialization phase. You can safely move in the quality and standards environment, for example in EN standards for bikes/e-bikes, and have experience with tests and field feedback. You bring communication strength in German and English and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team.
