Technician for Internal Service Metering (a*)

Hamburger Energienetz GmbH is a privately organised energy distribution network operator owned by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Due to the merger of electricity grid Hamburg and gas grid Hamburg in September 2024, Hamburger Energienetz GmbH is Hamburg's largest energy distribution network computing company.

Your main tasks include the development of the short- and medium-term strategy for meter assembly. You conduct the demand planning of materials and assembly capacities for the current meter mountings. In addition, you complete service provider contracts and accompany the tenders professionally. For the execution of the Mondays, you will start individual orders in the process-supporting IT applications. You prepare data for area control to make informed decisions and to continuously improve the efficiency of meter assembly.

You have a successfully completed training for the state-tested technician (a*) of electrical engineering or you can demonstrate a comparable qualification. In your previous career you could learn good knowledge of electrical installation and plant technology in medium and low voltage. Your strengths include an analytical and structured mindset as well as a high level of sense of responsibility. You have a secure handling of MS Office applications and a pronounced affinity on digital topics and IT systems. Knowledge in handling SAP IS-U is desirable.
