The Malteser Waldkrankenhaus St. Marien in Erlangen is a first stage hospital. In our musculoskeletal center with the clinics for orthopaedics and spinal surgery, the range of services corresponds to that of a maximum provider. The same applies to our clinic for urology, which has the status of a university clinic. Another focus is on our internist center with the clinics for geriatrics, cardiology and gastroenterology. In nine main departments and a document division as well as the Geriatric Rehabilitation Clinic, around 35,000 patients are provided annually in award-winning medical and nursing quality. The associated Malteser Institute for Health Care offers 180 training places in care. In addition, training courses for further medical professionals such as medical specialists and surgical assistants are included. Your task area

• Implementation of general anaesthesia, central and peripheral regional anaesthesia (sonography-based)
• Postoperative treatment in the wake room
• Medical treatment of patients in intensive care and the Intermediate Care Station
• Preoperative risk assessment and patient clarification in anaesthesia ambulance
• Perioperative Acutschmerztherapie
• Internal emergency services
• In case of interest and qualification participation in the painful therapy
• Development of the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Medicine
• Participation in the intensive care unit
• Close cooperation with other departments
