Network Engineer / Network Administrator (f/m/d)

Network management: planning, designing, installing and developing network landscapes, including office networks, data centers and WLAN environments. Performance monitoring and operational security: Monitor network components with regard to performance, capacity and availability, and ensure trouble-free operation by Troubleshooting and Second/Third level support. Operational activities and automation: performing operational tasks on firewall, switch, router, VPN and WLAN components as well as customizing and creating automation processes (scripting). Network services and documentation: Installing and configuring central network services, system documentation and planning as well as implementing changes. Support and advice: advise and support colleagues in the operational environment and coordinate cooperation with manufacturers and service providers. Ready to call: participation in readiness ca. 1 week per month - extra remunerated.

Educational background: Successfully completed IT training or studies with computer science and relevant professional experience. Technical expertise: knowledge of the administration and configuration of network components (e.g. Juniper, Checkpoint, ...), network infrastructure technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalling) and the troubleshooting of LAN and WLAN environments. Monitoring and documentation: Experience in the use of monitoring tools (e.g. check_MK, Nagios, PRTG) and documentation tools (i-doit, dokuWiki, Visio). Personal skills: team skills, independent work and enthusiasm for IT. Language knowledge: German: Safe for negotiation; English: Advanced knowledge.

At the end of 2025, the Maintal office site is moving into a new, modern office building in Frankfurt (East).
