Our client is a leading premium event marketing company in Berlin with over 1,000 events per year and a clear claim to quality, efficiency and growth.

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with direct connection to the management for the overall responsibility of the operational food production and the further development of scalable structures. You lead teams clearly, control complex production and logistics processes securely and develop organisations so that operational excellence, economic efficiency and sustainable growth are permanently guaranteed.

Leadership & Organisation: Total responsibility for production, warehouse, logistics, stewarding, quality assurance and workshop as well as further development of structures, responsibilities, shift and representation models. Operational excellence & cost-effectiveness: control of all production, logistics and equipment processes as well as active KPI, cost and efficiency control to ensure quality, timing and yield. Quality & Food Safety: Responsibility for HACCP, IFS, Flowtify and EMAS standards, training, audits and continuous improvement of production and quality processes. Purchasing & Supplier Control: Strategic responsibility for purchasing, goods acceptance, supplier structure and warehouse logistics in close cooperation with kitchen and finance. Scaling & new production structures: building additional production sales outside the event business and preparing an IFS-compliant order production as a basis for further growth. Reporting & Control: Development of transparent KPI, reporting and decision structures for management and leadership team.

Studies or training in food technology, gastronomy, production management or comparable Multiannual leadership experience in a producing food business, catering companies or comparable environment with responsibility for several operating areas Experience in building, scaling or further development of production and organizational structures Impressed business understanding and secure control of key figures, costs and efficiency Clear communication, enforcement strength, organisational ability and pronounced hands-on mentality Safe handling of HACCP, IFS and quality management systems as well as experience in audits and structured production processes
