Business Development Manager Automation & Applied Robotics (m/f/d)

Your tasks - shape the future together: In this position, you actively shape the construction of robotic solutions at Würth. Its aim is to identify relevant fields of application and to bring together customer needs, market potentials and technical feasibility to create scalable and marketable robotics solutions for crafts and SMEs. You co-operate with Würth's robotics ecosystem and build partnerships with OEMs, integrators, technology partners as well as universities and research institutions. You identify and evaluate fields of application for robotic platform solutions, analyze market and customer requirements and derive concrete use cases with real added value. From customer interviews, market observations, pilot projects and partner feedback, you can formulate structured requirements for product, implementation and market management, creating the basis for successful solutions. You evaluate cost-effectiveness, market potential and scaling opportunities for new robotics approaches and create sound business cases as a basis for decision-making for internal stakeholders. In addition, plan, manage and coordinate pilot projects, tests and strategic initiatives and ensure targeted cooperation with internal and external partners. At trade fairs, network events as well as in voting and negotiation situations with partners, Würth is professionally represented and actively contributes to the further development of the subject area Automation & Applied Robotics.

Your profile - grow together: You have completed their studies in the field of economic engineering, engineering, technology management, business management or a comparable qualification. A completed artisanal training or a pronounced affinity for craftsmanship is of particular advantage, as it helps you to understand customer requirements, workflows and real fields of application in practice even better and derive custom robotics solutions. You bring together several years of experience in business development, product management or in the development of technical solutions and understand how to build new topics strategically and operationally. You have a well-founded knowledge of project management, market analysis and the development of business areas and partner structures and provide a good understanding of economic and technical relationships. Their personality is characterized by enforcing strength, communication capability, high self-motivation and a structured, pragmatic hand-on mentality. We require very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Traveling willingness to national customers as well as individually bring you to international partners.
